"We went on the moose tour in June 2012, and we really enjoyed it! We
were skeptical at first, but we were able to see at least 7 moose
multiple times (as well as a bear)! The videos on the bus were
interesting, and I think it would be a fun activity for kids. The tour
guide was great and allowed everyone time to take pictures and get off
the bus if they wanted. I would definitely recommend this!!"
Douglas C., Pittsgrove, NJ -
"We had a great trip to NH, and the moose tour was definitely a highlight
of our time there. Elwyn made the tour enjoyable and entertaining and
went above and beyond what he advertised to please his clients. We were
lucky enough to get the last two seats on the bus that night and it
completed a perfect and memorable day in NH. By my count, we saw 11
moose on our tour. I would highly recommend this tour for young and old

"We went on the Moose tour
in June and had a great time. I had my mother up from TN and a group of
us went. We saw tons of Moose and were allowed to get off the bus to get
closer if we wanted to. We thought it was a lot of fun and the kids on
the bus seemed to have a great time also. We plan on going again."
Shawn F., Roslindale, MA -
trip, very informative about the life of a moose. Saw a handful of
moose on our tour and was even within 10 feet of one when it walked
along the side of the bus. Definitely would go back next year to do it
all over again. Plan on making it a yearly trip."
Sara S., Sarasota, FL -
"We went on the Moose Safari as a group of 5 - grandma, mom and 3
teenagers. You might think the teenagers would be bored with such a
trip, and you would be wrong! We had a great time looking for all the
wildlife we could see. We saw several moose moms and babies along with
singles. It was a grand adventure for us flatlanders from manatee
country. Thanks for the great experience including the teenagers." Joan H., Beverly, MA -
"We had a great time with our granddaughters on the Moose Safari. We
hoped to see one moose, and saw 5!!! They are amazing animals. We also
saw a black bear! The tour was entertaining with fun music and
educational videos. I would recommend it to anyone!"
Susan N., Portland, ME -
the advertising in the lobby where we stayed we asked the front desk
their opinion. Feedback was positive so decided to go. From start to
finish the tour was all about moose and we saw at least 8 different
moose, some more than once so it seemed like even more. Nice to be
around people having a good time as our driver Elwyn lit up the cheer
& clap sign. Our children had a good time too and they especially
liked the glow in the dark stars which were lit up with black lights.
For the ride back they asked for the the stars to be lit up and so they
were. Am so glad we took this family moose tour."
Bob G., Salem, NH -
"Having the wife wanting to
see a moose while on our trip to the North Country we went on the North
Conway Moose Tour. Well in short, we saw moose and then some. Saw eight
different moose and even was able to get off the bus and take
pictures. Wife was happy and had a good time to boot. We recommend this
moose tour when in North Conway."
Jim G., North Conway, NH -
"Went on evening Moose Tour
out of North Conway. Started with moose movie and headed into "moose
country'. After dark had a few moose sighted all on passenger side of
bus. Then came upon cow and calf in field and driver said we could get
off bus and stand next to bus to watch them. It was great. The moose
stayed within 30 feet of us for about 10 minutes before they wandered
off. Got back on bus and watched video taking us back to North Conway.
Overall an enjoyable time and got to see moose!"
John D., Fort Myers, FL -
"Highly recommend this Moose Safari Moose Tour. From making reservation
to seeing moose to being dropped off at our place of lodging all went
well. Having read a review that says beginning is a waste - I disagree.
Movie shown about moose life in New Hampshire is worthwhile for sure.
Driver is looking for moose from the get go while movie is playing. We
enjoyed the movies, the 'moose tunes' were played but not repeated and
were fun. We signed up to see moose and saw 5 that night ! Needless to
say, a job well done by the driver!"
Helen C., London, England - "The passengers are let on
in the order of booking date, a fair system . Choose seats on the right
as next to the grass/ forest where the moose eat. The driver drove
around to ensure we saw a good number and an interesting moose video was
played on our way out of Conway to inform us. My camera did not cope
well with the low light of dusk, when most are seen. The four hours
passed very quickly. The other folk on the bus also thought that it was
an enjoyable and interesting trip. Probably too late and too long for
toddlers and not enough for them to actually see. We left the bus at
sighting when still light to take pictures and the driver had a strong
torch/flashlight!!!! you can tell where I am from................we
covered lots of miles to get the sightings..................Well done!!"
Lilly P., United Kingdom -
"Was dubious about going on this tour but read the
previous review and decided to give it a try. what a great evening video
on board about moose, music by the the moosecatiers [ not really for me
but you have to enter the spirit of the evening] tour guide arranged
our pickup from our lodging property and was really very helpful. On top of that saw 5
moose at different locations. really a good night worth the money."
